On the one hand, the world is shaken by one unbearable crisis after another, authoritarian regimes seem to be on the rise and and societies feel more divided than ever before – and all this is taking place against a background of a seemingly unavoidable climate catastrophe.
On the other hand, we know that people always had the feeling that everything was better and more stable in the past; that social media today show us the horrors of the world more clearly than ever before and that socially much has changed for the better in the last 100 years.
So what is actually happening – are we moving towards a better or worse future?
This experimental discussion will be held once in English and once in German. Come along and participate in the discussion
